"Yes, those odd choices that can make fashion purists either roll their eyes or worse, cringe at the sight of a fashion faux pas, because I didn't consult their bible first."

There's something utterly persuasive about a raw collision of geometric patterns. More than its aesthetic appeal, though, I take delight in the idea that I am "unknowingly" breaking a rule in an already tricky and daunting business that is mixing patterns and textures.

Yes, those odd choices that can make fashion purists either roll their eyes or worse, cringe at the sight of a fashion faux pas, because I didn't consult their bible first. Case in point, would a series of Ferris Wheel-like circles on my blouse bond well with the family of Quadrilaterals residing on my skirt?

Straight up, no idea. I don't wear everything by the book. And that's convincingly fun and liberating to try every now and then.

You know what, I think you should too!

Then, throw in a bold one-earring act that subtly pays homage to a Dolce and Gabbana romance. I know, I did.

P.S.
That photo with flowers against a sunny yellow wall was taken from a noisy construction site. It's a beautiful irony. And I never thought I could actually make use of this image until today.
