The week passed by in a blur. Perhaps, this momentary lapse of the five-day period's occurrences was due to my as clear as day excitement to greet Sat and Sun with fun filled activities. (i.e. 'Coercing' my brother for a shoot, pouring my thoughts out on a little dog-eared notebook from Papemelroti which had accompanied me through hectic tertiary school days, meeting friends for a crazy laugh in between and binge watching).

Summertime happiness is around the corner (my deep apologies to the incomparable Lana del Rey) and I am about to maximize my wardrobe intended for the season.

The crochet halter top from this local swimwear label was originally a bikini set. It still is, except for the fact that the lower half won't gain any public display. Just yet.

Because summer is like Christmas' alter ego, more get together trips lead to gluttony. And what gluttony does to the body, well, I leave you the floor now for conclusion.

Looking for a way to use the mentioned top without necessarily hitting the beach locale was to pair it with a leather (faux, I assume) skirt. It's a perfect blend actually. There's that budding summer warmth and the top will provide you with comfort and breeze because literally, the wind will continuously pat you in the back, hence the comfort. That last remark sounds lame and does not deserve exposure on a published post but really, me da igual

The skirt, given that it's leather (again, faux) is synonymous to my hopes of the rainy and cold season hitting the oriental zone soon. Nothing more.

I hope you are equally enjoying the cold rushes of the wind and its occasional signs of warmth and fuzziness. Or the other way around. Stay cozy, my folks.
