"I have a style penchant with the 70s and can gladly show you some hip-swinging, finger-snapping syncopated strut ala Tony Manero while dressed in tight fitting trousers and kanga orange top, sans bra."

I think I was born in the wrong era. Not in the absolute preference of things because that would just make me obsolete today, but more on a selective kind of way. Say music and fashion. I think these two are the most flexible (and forgiving) fragments of every decade's culture. Because unlike economic and political ideologies, people wouldn't give (that much) fuck and bias about your playlist and wardrobe choices.

I mean it's totally relatable and sensible to still fancy Bee Gees over One Direction nowadays, right? In the same sense that you can still understandably choose high waisted trousers and disco-printed bell sleeve dress instead of the infamous crop top with Pizza is Bae and a  slew of other pseudo-hipster phrases printed on it, without the need to explain why.

Don't get me wrong. I'm a proud product of the 90s ripped jeans, Macarena madness, and subdued opinions. But honestly, I lean more towards the spirit of the 70s. There's just something wildly unique and liberating on this color infused era. Everything is as flamboyant and experimental as it gets. And if you've been reading this blog for a while now, you know I've been blabbering about my inclination towards daring pursuits since then.

So there, I have a style penchant with the 70s and can gladly show you some hip-swinging, finger-snapping syncopated strut ala Tony Manero while dressed in tight fitting trousers and kanga orange top, sans bra.*

Trends come and go, thus, I'm not afraid to be labeled outdated. Neither should youMusic and fashion anyway are just a repetitive revival of the early aughts. Right?
